The Cambridge Kodiaks have done it! With victories in the League, Cup, and Playoffs, the Kodiaks not only cemented their dominance this season but also achieved promotion to WNIHL1, marking a major milestone for the program and its players; Capping off a campaign that showcased not only their skill and determination but also the strength of their team spirit and community support.

About Us

The first ever Cambridge Women’s ice hockey team

The Cambridge Kodiaks are the first ever women’s ice hockey team in Cambridge based at the Cambridge Ice Arena on Newmarket Road. We are also the first ever Cambridge City team to be playing in the EIHA (English Ice Hockey Association) league. The team was founded by George Alley, Kirsty Bard and Tracy Nichols.

Ice hockey is a very male dominated sport and we are working as hard as we can to change this outlook on ice hockey. We want to empower women to take part in sport and play one of the fastest paced game in the world.
